High school bullying, commonly thought to be a problem for boys, is just as prevalent among girls.
We hear more concerns from teachers about girls in high school and how they treat each other.
Girls usually bully within their circle of friends and girls also use indirect bullying (Rude stares, gossip, left out of a group, words) that is why it is so hard to catch girls in the action of bullying. Where boys bully outside their circle of friends but usually do direct bullying (Physical).
Bullying is a very serious issue that shouldn’t be taken lightly. High school bullying and harassment should not be tolerated, and school staff must understand the difference between "kids being kids" and crossing the line into harassment and bullying.
At ReportBullying.com our team can help in the process. We can educate and set up a proactive anti bullying program in your school.
